My all time favorite Hartmann item is my cosmetic case. I love it because I can put it on the bathroom sink in a hotel and work out of it. When I am finished, I simply close it up and put it away.
I had my first case for 10+ years and it was lost at the airport. Because I forgot the combination for the lock on a trip to LA, the second case (purchased on ebay) had to be opened with a crowbar. Instead of sending in it to get it repaired (which is expensive because of the postage), I am simply looking for another case on Ebay.

Gorgeous luggage!!
FABULOUS!!!!!
I'm a fan of Hartman as well. I like the fact that they are a Southern company that makes a great quality product. We sent a bag back to Hartman to have the lock repaired and they returned it to us in beautiful condition--no charge (minus our shipping cost). A great company.
Cute blog name!!
Have never seen this luggage before and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!!
Thanks for posting it!!!
Hartmann really is the best and in my mind nothing else even compares. I have had my set since boarding school and have yet to have ANY rip or break. I have been on countless overseas trips with this luggage and even rolled it through the mulch at camp and it is still as good as new. I LOVE my bags and agree that making an investment is the only way to go.
Totally agree with you on the fact that once you get older decent luggage is a must. I had never heard of this brand and am impressed! thanks for sharing.
ooh I like this - I love vanity boxes! This is so stylish and I qould imagine would take a bit of travl stress! Looks really well made.
My husband has a whole set of Hartman. I have a whole set of that tapestry pattern from The French Co....remember that one? You don't hear much about them anymore, but their luggage is well made and in the same price range as Hartman if I recall correctly.
FYI...there is a Hartman outlet in Estero, FL - by Fort Myers, if you ever make it down that way.
Can't go wrong with Hartman, my parents still have their luggage they bought over 25+ years ago!
You know the old say...pay for quality, quality lasts! so true!!!
