We were invited to a wonderful Croquet party on Saturday night. We enjoyed several rounds while drinking a variety of wines. Serving the Pimms Cup #1 (the official croquet drink) was vetoed by the mostly non-British contingent-the British gals said "If we thought you would like it, we could have brought our Pimms". The picture above is a member of the Navy Croquet team--a little hard to play croquet on the ship, but an important skill for our sailors to have, no less. I used a pink ball.

Oh what fun and yum yum to the Pimms!
I have always wanted to attend, it looks like so much fun! Very Great Gatsby. I wanted at attend St. John's but my grandfather a retired Army Col. did want me going to a college "next door to a bunch of horny Navy boys". We had a few family members attend Annapolis. Becs
OOH! Pink ball! You're so FABULOUS!
I love Pimms! How can anyone not!?
I also love a good croquet party- always fun. I can't wait to move to the burbs and have a big lawn so I can host parties. I hope you fared well- at least you looked stylish with a pink ball!
Love the pink ball!
We have a Mallet Club here in the small New England town where we summer. It is fabulous to see the 70 year old Men & Women in their croquet garb on a Saturday morning. All the rage - makes me look forward to aging.
A croquet party...how fun is that? I've never heard of one in Texas..maybe I'll be the first to host one!
I am not a prep, and never was, but you and this site are just the Cutest. I think I may convert. Is there a ceremony or something...? LOL
