101 Things to Buy Before You Die: Judith Leiber

From all the postings I have been reading, it sounds like everyone had a wonderful holiday!

I have become a little obsessed with Judith Leiber. This Hungarian purse designer is featured in the above book "101 Things to Buy Before you Die". When I headed to the St. Joe Ball this year, a friend of mine rented a Judith Leiber purse from a purse rental company. She said she did it for the experience and it was a beautiful, burgandy simple bag. Another friend of mine carried the tomato purse by Judith Leiber--very stunning. I usually just carry a plain black purse and thought--I think I would like something special.

I think it would be nice to own one or two of these purses (even though they are very expensive --hello ebay). Judith Leiber does have some plain version that are not as flashy. These purses have 10,000-13,000 swarovski crystals and are truly works of art.

VERA BRADLEY--A LONG HISTORY

Back in my college sorority days, there were two sisters from Indiana and their mother owned a fabric purse and accessory company. All our party favors for special events were from this company. I remember a fabric book cover for sure. Amy and Joanie's grandmother's name was Vera Bradley. Because of this, I have been very loyal to the cause. Here are my latest finds....

MY DOG COCO HAS THIS.
(My husband does not think this is masculine enough for his female
bird hunting dog --he also feels the same about the name Coco).
