THE GOOP

My dear Kappa sister in California just called and gave me lots updates on some of our friends as well as a new blog/website by Gwyneth Paltrow named Goop. Usually I am less inclined to follow advice of celebrities but this website is fairly impressive, very elegant and simple. Everyone I know is doing a 7 day cleanse and Gwyneth's cleanse advice is unique and has some wonderul menu options. Check it out

Thanks for sharing, I just took a peek and the website looks really interesting.

I have been hearing people talk about cleansing everywhere lately - although the concept scares me a bit!

I like GP and I signed up for her weekly e-newsletter. But I gotta say, I find some of it a bit pretentious. So far I'm not wholly impressed, although I do like that her cleanse wasn't some big chemical-laden shake you buy from an overpriced vendor - that they were real recipes. I also like that she gets real experts to weigh in instead of it just being her own thoughts.

I just wonder how involved she is with what's actually written, ya know?

Thanks for the comment! I love the dishes as well and am hoping to get a set when we move in May. I always use moving as an excuse to get new things. The website address is http://sarahcihat.com/sweet/rehab%27dishware.html.

I took a quick peak around the site, and I like it. I especially like her section on her "uniform"--some of the pieces were a bit pricey for me, but I got some great ideas on how I could update my own "uniform!"

Thanks for sharing this!
