And, Finally, Wearing It! --Ice Cream Charms

My memories of our summer in Venice are walking around the streets with my children and eating a scoop of gelato at least three times a day (this was our snack). What a refreshing treat! It is easy to understand what such an effort was made (before there was electricity) to serve this beloved dessert.

ICE CREAM CHARMS: My daughters each have three charm bracelets, C has: a 14 or 18k Gold and a Tiffany Silver. B has silver one, a Tiffany silver and a Juicy Couture. B is getting a gold charm bracelet for her birthday. I guess you can say we love charms. . I am thinking I may invest in a gold bracelet too (my silver is from my childhood).

Even the jewelers know what this means to us. My other ice cream cosmetic products will be posted at another time due to blogger having problems today.

Are you a Charm Bracelet person?

I have a charm bracelet and I LOVE it!!! I also have my mom's which has her sorority charm on it and everything from like nearly 40 years ago - they make great heirlooms!!! I like to buy a new charm every time I go somewhere new!

I just love charm bracelets..I have a silver one that goes from birth through my teenage years. Plus I have my mothers and started my daughter one this year. They are so special because you "remember" each charms meaning and memory.

I have a gold charm bracelet that my Dad started for me in 1968. He worked in Europe and brought charms to me from everywhere that he traveled. Some of them have moving parts. I adore it. The charms today do not compare with these. My mom, late hubby, and children have also added to it. I have found a couple of places that sell the vintage charms. It always makes me sad to see a full charm bracelet at an antique jewelry store because I know how special and sentimental charm bracelets are. I just wonder "how the bracelet could have ended up here"?

Those ice cream charms are too precious!! I have a few charm bracelets and just love them. My mom started a new one for me for my birthday last year with charms for each of the big accomplishments I have had and she keeps adding on. It's very fun and meaningful!
