Christmas China
While all of you on your blogs are discussing your celebrating the holidays with family, being thankful and charitable giving, I am talking about other important matters: setting my table. Deep and meaningful.... no, slighty superficial, oh yes! Below are some of my favorites china patterns. I host Christmas Eve dinner every year. I usually use my Sheffield China by Spode which looks nice on my red velvet tablecloth. Also, I have antique white, 24 inch linen napkins tied with ornament frames from Michael's that serve as placecards. I order a fresh arrangement from our local florist and then we are all set.

I just got your comment. I understand about being busy. This is the time of year for that! By the way, I love that Spode Christmas Tree china! I have always wanted that or the Lenox china with the holly and gold rim! When I get married one day I plan on doing a Christmas dinner with the Christmas china I register for!
Your Christmas table sounds too cute!
I have the Christmas Tree pattern by Spode as well. I also have some plates that I bought from Crate and Barrel a number of years ago that I just love as well. I have red wine glasses and some napkin rings which are like holly. I just love bringing everything out for the season.
Love all the patterns you picked! It would be neat to do a mix and match with some holiday patterns for a christmas table!
I love the plate with the pheasant on it! Gorgeous.
I don't have a Christmas pattern. I'm hosting so many people on Christmas that I'm just using white plates I bought at World Market. I'm so not a grown-up yet. ;-)
I have Lenox Christmas. It took me years to collect/finish it but now I want something else. I LOVE the pattern you showed with the pheasant. Gorgeous. I would like something like that.
Christmas Tree pattern by Spode. Having the Christmas china really makes the setting of the table much easier! Christmas Placemats, napkins, etc. What kind of centerpiece do you have created for you?? Interesting to know as I may add that this year.
~Stunning~
What gorgeous china pieces!
Really, really pretty.
Love the sleigh with the name. So cute!
I love Christmas china!! These are beautiful. My sister and I each started to collect our patterns a few years ago and have been building them up. I can't remember the names right now though. It's so fun to set up a pretty table!
This is a toughie! I adore your Sheffield by Spode. I have the traditional Spode "Christmas Tree". I use it everyday during the season. Ironically, the Tiffany Garland is a dream! I'd love to have a set. I have the gold version of it. I figured it would go with many occasions rather than just Christmas. I really do have a china problem!
My sister and my mom have the Spode Christmas tree pattern. I love them, and may start my own collection soon. I can't decide whether to go with the Spode pattern or the Pottery Barn reindeer pattern.
I inherited a "ton" of the Lennox christmas pattern from my mom! We use it on Christmas Day for dinner! In my very pink dining room, I have to work around the red in the pattern and play up the green!
We have had "Sleigh Ride" by Lenox since we were married, but are now looking for something else.... there is a lot to choose from, isn't there?!

I have Bernardaud by Grenadiers. I do love Spode Sheffield and the Tiffany Holiday pattern too. There are so many beautiful patterns available.
Enjoy your weekend!
I have the Spode tree china! Well a very small collection. Grandmother and mother have service for at least twelve and all the serving pieces so I really hate to start a new collection when I might someday recieve theirs.
We love our Spode Christmas Tree China. We get it out right after Thanksgiving. I inherited my Mother's and Grandmother's sets as I host Christmas every year. I love hosting and am thrilled to have possession of their collections.
